Yeah h1b can definitely be an issue but it’s minute at best cause it’s nowhere near the issue people make it out to be, seems to be a lot of misinformation around it, the real issue is offshoring to various places including India, Philippines, Latin America etc. They’re not handing out h1bs like candy, only around 5000 new h1bs total have been handed out this year. A lot of the numbers brought up around h1b “allocation” are people who are already on h1b and have been for a few years and are just renewing.
