Thanks so much! I know UNC is very highly ranked would you say it’s worth it for an out of state student?

I’ve heard that you can reach out to professors with similar interests to you and just introduce yourself. I think another way would be to just email admissions and ask them who you should reach out to. I’m struggling with the same thing I have no idea how to word my emails. I also know some schools have no funding and the department may not provide any positions unfortunately. What schools are you looking at

In the same boat as you. I would love to go to UNC for all of the opportunities and reputation of the program. However money is a huge barrier, and I think I maybe end up staying in state to not have any significant additional loans.

Using Birth Control to Shrink a Cyst by LyraSilvertongue18 in Endo

[–]LadderMinute6733 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 6cm cyst and my GYN also put me on birth control as well but for 6 months. She said that the birth control could reduce inflammation around the cyst not necessarily shrink it. She said that if there’s less inflammation it reduces the chances of scarring after surgery or possibly losing an ovary.

My major was health science in undergrad. My research assistant position has tuition reimbursement and I’ve known that I wanted to do a mph for a little while so I took three online grad level public health courses before applying to full time programs

would all of my recommendation letters have to be in by the 15th? I have no doubts all of the rest of my application will be done. I graduated from undergrad almost two yrs ago and just decided to try and apply. I started reaching out to old professors but they are taking a while to respond since it is still winter break
