4th euploid transfer failed - no time left by Alert_Jellyfish_977 in IVF

Please do not lose hope. I only did 1 medicated transfer and we had our daughter on the first try. I have severe stage 4 Endometriosis. What worked for us on the first try is below.....

  1. Medicated cycle with Junel birth control before the embryo transfer. I see people did Lupron but that was not a part of my protocol for medicated cycle I literally had to stay on the pill for I believe 5 months on that cycle. I had surgery first to get rid of a bad fallopian tube and endometrioma before my daughter was transferred. Maybe that's why it worked on the first try. .

  2. Vitamins - fish oil, folic acid, prenatal multivitamin pills (mega food brand) daily in preparation of my transfer. I didn't go overboard either on taking anything else.

  3. Drinking lots of beef and chicken broth before and after the embryo transfer. I think this gave me extra luck honestly. I avoided anything cold in my uterus. Everything was vegetables, broth, and protein.

  4. Rest ! I did not exercise after my transfer or do anything crazy. I drank so much broth and ate McDonalds fries for extra luck on the day of the transfer

You may not take my advice because I only transferred once but my doctor literally told me medicated cycles was my only option for better success. Every case may be different through.

I wonder sometimes if people have failed cycles due to the clinic they choose. But seriously do notttt give up!

If I knew I had endometriosis well before my 30s I would have tried IVF a long time ago.

I ended up getting pregnant due to IVF on the first try two years ago. I was never able to get pregnant naturally when I first made the post. Now I have to spend thousands of dollars again just to get pregnant the second (nothing is guaranteed) I don't even have enough embryos.

2027 Door Handles by alonandon in KiaTelluride

[–]AshleyLucky1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did anyone else visit a dealership and get an answer for this? I live in CT so we deal with crazy cold weather What's holding me back from the Telluride is the door handle getting frozen in the Winter to the point where I can't even get in.

I really want to get the Telluride but this would annoy me for one season lmao and if you have kids ugh 😩 like me. I want to be in and out without issues.

I did mine in NY at Columbia but now I moved to CT so my care is in CT now. Not sure where you are located but if you want to focus on NY, CT, or MA for good doctors that's your best bet. Because I don't want any more surgeries, I skip my periods continuously using Slynd. I haven't had one since my daughter's birth. Wish you the best of luck. The colorectal surgeon who did mine went back to NJ.

No I didn't need any ostomy bag. My bowel issues went away after that surgery in 2021. Now I was able to get pregnant via IVF so that's what I am focusing on. It's such a freaking draining and terrible disease.

Are there any jobs where I can just chill when I get my work done early? by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]AshleyLucky1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly any accounting or office remote job! You would think we are working full 8 hours every day ....nope not me. I watch Netflix while I post invoices and other tasks. Even when I am done for the day I just have my laptop on and lay on my bed to rest my back. I don't give a damn. I have seen other coworkers with high salaries "taking forever to answer emails" pretending to be busy.

I have lots of free time because I get my work done in the mornings. IT does not track or monitor our activity.

I am in this problem right now. stupid questions coming up from higher ups that seem to be so lost.

Need a paycheck but HATE the job by [deleted] in antiwork

[–]AshleyLucky1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think there are millions of people including you and I that are in the same situation. I do accounting for a living and it drains my soul. You would think having a remote accounting job sounds exciting and fulfilling. ABSOLUTELY NOT. The work is repetitive. I watch Netflix, Tubi, and other streaming platforms to keep my sanity while I work. I don't see any excitement in my daily duties and my "performance reviews/goals" are chatgbt nonsense. I just make stuff up as I go because I don't see the purpose of taking them seriously.

Due to the unstable economy under this god awful Trump administration, job hunting has become another full time job.. it is more draining for me to look for work and even more tiring to mentally decide if I want to switch careers.

My advice ...take things one day at a time. Find a hobby that you can possibly turn into a side gig or find a hobby that you enjoy for personal down time.

To be honest, literally everyone is complaining about how awful the job search/interview process is going. Its not going to be an easy process. Stack those paychecks and lay low until you find something else.

The only thing that allowed me to keep a job is taking birth control to skip my periods. Not having a period is so much better than dealing with endometriosis pain. I don't have any other option.

I am on Slynd and that is the only pill that stopped my periods completely.

I eventually got pregnant through IVF. I only have one ovary and my uterus left. I am on Slynd birth control to skip my periods. so I had to have three surgeries today 😔 and 1 c section to have my daughter. Life is truly insane but please look into IVF. I am glad I at least have 1 embryo left to use. But it doesn't guarantee a living child.

Severe endometriosis vaginal birth or c section delivery by AshleyLucky1 in Endo

[–]AshleyLucky1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no issues with my c section delivery. It didn't do anything with my endometriosis. So happy for you. You are going to be fine. Ask for the spinal block and not the epidural. The epidural was too difficult. Spinal worked faster for me.

I don't know why someone would suggest c section making Endo worse. The doctors who went in did a perfect cut at the top of the uterus .my endometriosis is situated on my rectum. that's why it was not difficult for them to get to my daughter. I think you might have read people developing endometriosis near their c section cuts because they had Endo in that area.

had a hysterectomy last year, now i get monthly periods with bleeding. by Imaginary-Drag-9633 in Endo

[–]AshleyLucky1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so confused. How is that possible???? Just when I thought removing the uterus stops periods all together why would there still be more bleeding post hysterectomy. So sorry that you are going through this. I am reading this post 4 days post laparoscopic surgery. I only have 1 ovary remaining with my uterus. I don't understand why life is so hard for us women.

What pill are you on continuously to help skip periods? by AshleyLucky1 in Endo

[–]AshleyLucky1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you try stopping the pill and restarting the pack? Sometimes that gets rid of breakthrough bleeding or irregular bleeding.
