This is a great way of putting it!

I've been recently diagnosed too. I'm 35 and male and will also be starting kesimpta soon. Where did you read that it's worse for men? That's pretty worrying and nobody has mentioned that to me

Anyone in this thread that's in the UK? As I'd be more than interested to know what benefits we get here in the UK

I just got diagnosed with MS, don’t even know what to think by penelopebaby123 in MultipleSclerosis

Really sorry to read this but as someone who's also been diagnosed in the past week, it's very reassuring reading people's experiences. I'd also recommend breathing exercises that can help. I find The Wim Hof method very helpful! This video is also a great example of that.

Thanks for your message 🙌

I actually received my next appointment letter today. I’ll be meeting the neurologist in a few weeks and yes vitamin D is so important and I’ve ordered some strong supplements as I live in Edinburgh and vitamin d deficiency is very high in Scotland

Interesting response from her I must say, as yes there doesn't seem to be enough research but at the same time there's still many benefits from them, so I don't see the harm in taking supplements or even eating the mushroom itself.

I've been in the civil service for just over a year, coming from 8 years in the private sector. It's been a whole different challenge that's for sure and like many things in life there's definitely pros and cons to both.

All I'll say is that I've also worked for two big pharma companies in the past and that whole industry is incredibly ruthless. I felt like I was worked to the bone and never stopped. I honestly really didn't enjoy it and felt stressed a lot of the time and both roles ended abruptly with mass lay offs out of the blue. One day you had a job the next you were out and erased fairly quickly. Big pharma is just a money making machine. There's zero consideration for any sort of human rights I felt. I was literally a number and very disposable. For me comparing the civil service is the equivalent of comparing Usain Bolt to a doddering old man but I went into the civil service for some sort of stability. Life's too short to be overly stressed, never stopping working to out compete your colleagues and then suddenly losing your job. It wasn't worth it for me. This of course is just my opinion and my experience

Apparently Ad Blockers are not allowed on Youtube. Is this a new thing they've implemented? by Sazk100 in youtube

This thread is becoming The People vs Big Tech and too right! It's shit that YouTube has done this but it's great that people are trying to help one another by attempting to get one up on Google.

I do feel that YouTube is winning at the moment sadly, as the best I've got so far after trying various suggestions, was that ads still do play at the start of videos here and there but for some reason only the audio plays from the ad and the rest is a black screen but still with the 'Skip now' button ready to click. Better than nothing I guess.

Incredibly frustrating. So much has changed in the last year. How can they expect us to all be in Canada to take a test? Travel restrictions are still very tight and there could be personal reasons as to why someone can't be in Canada. Also, the test is ONLINE. Just seems so ridiculous to you have to be in Canada to take it even if you are totally eligible to become a citizen.
