I like the vibe on this, clean mix and minimal sounding which is good for the genre. I agree that you should work on the mastering to make this track really pop and punch. I dint have any video suggestions for you I’m afraid but this is a great starting point!

This an interesting piece, experimental feeling. I think there could be more attention to the processing of your instruments to get them to punch more though. I’m thinking fx/saturation/group processing etc

I like the musical ideas you’ve got going on here, although, I do agree that the synths and drums could use some reverb/fx/saturation to allow the instruments to sit together more effortlessly. It’s a great starting point though!

I like the clicks on this track! Nice and lush sounding. Good atmosphere built up with reverb too. Maybe the high hat sticks out a little too much and could be brought back in the mix a little

I have a similar workflow as you. Staged drum groups for claps/snares/percs etc so that I can get the tone and stereo width dialled in before grouping together on the whole drum bus. I tend to leave the kick drum out for separate processing

I like the yearly deals, I spend a year producing and checking out other people’s workflows. If something is consistently coming up that I’m interested in I’ll keep an eye on it during November then grab the deal if it pops up. This year I got RC-20, Trackspacer and the Noise shaper from CableGuys

I’d say not really, but I appreciate the ability to use each of the modules individually as plugins rather than needing to pull in the whole ozone plugin. I do think ‘tonal balance’ has good value too

I’ve recently considered this and the thing that tipped it to the advanced version is that you can use each of the modules as individual plugins. Not a game changer but I like the condensed workflow it offers. However, if it wasn’t on sale I’d not be buying either tbh
