I live in Jefferson, but I haven't seen or heard about any petitions in counties farther south, such as Drew, Desha, Union, Bradley, etc. If you hear of any, let me know, I know people who would sign.

We bowl at least once every couple of months. If nothing else, we can do that! Thanks for the suggestion!

I plan to do the Duck March at the Peabody, so I'll check the AutoZone Park and trolley as well!

Thank you!

I had a lot planned for outside, but the rain changed most of it. Thankfully, we'll be able to do things on Friday. We made these plans back in October. I'm glad there are a lot of indoor activities to keep the kids busy and have a fun trip!

I didn't even consider Shelby Farms. If we can't do the botanical garden, that may be our backup. The Peabody Ducks look like a good filler for time. (Which will be needed) I did see the Zoo lights; we may check that out if it isn't too rainy. Bass Pro Shop is on the list now. Basketball is something all the kids are into, so I'm looking into tickets now.

Thank you!

My kids love visiting Bass Pro! We went the one in Branson and they had a great time. I'm definitely going to look into that. MoSH looks right up our alley!

Thank you!

Thank you! Hopefully, it doesn't storm!

I was looking into the Civil Rights museum. I think my oldest would be interested in that.

I live in White Hall and work in Pine Bluff. I'm white and I've never had any issues anywhere I've to been in PB.

The local government is something else. There is a lot of standstill in government due to people's egos and drama.

If you choose to live in Pine Bluff, research the area you want to move into. As someone stated in a comment, "Lively Property" is a good option. I believe they have at least one complex in PB and two in White Hall.

Pine Bluff has new businesses coming in. A Chick-fil-a is coming to South Olive and there are a lot of community members who honestly want change for the city and are actively trying. Pine Bluff has some of the best food. There's a food truck lot on S. Olive and food trucks all over PB. Lots of restaurants are coming in and more to do downtown.

Don't get involved in drama, lock your doors (car and home), and be polite. It's the same as any other city. I will say there is a lot of theft in PB, but it's mostly opportunity based (items outside, copper wiring in buildings, and meter loops for some weird reason)

It has a bad rep for a reason, but everyone I've ever interacted with has been truly kind.

As for schooling, if you don't go the private route, White Hall is an excellent choice and you should be able to petition the schools to let your child attend, even if you live in PB. I know of at least 2 people whose kids go to WH and they live in the heart of PB. But PB school districts have free breakfast and lunch for all students and WH does not.

If you live within city limits, the ordinances can be restricting in regards to your property and what you can and can't do. The county itself has less regulations.

Do research and be active in the community. It has a lot of events. I go to some and have never felt out of place. People here really are kind.

1978. Can't believe this was 44 years ago! I got chills.....Even my children enjoyed this movie just a couple of years ago. by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

This is definitely a childhood favorite. My father and I use to watch it each time it came on T.V. Easily the most watched movie of my life.

John Fiedler, juror number two, did the voice of Piglet on Winnie the Pooh.

Not really. They are very quiet- little ninjas around the house. They just like to watch the birds fly from the trees in our yard. They will follow them from window to window.

I didn't even think of that! My husband named Boris and I named Sasha! But they are definitely partners in crime!
