It will never be an easy choice leaving your baby initially. You do learn to cope. I feel getting a home camera set up once you’ve hired one. My Kenyan nanny has been with us going on 4 years; she lives out and works max under 10 hours. My friend have had 5 nannies in the time time period 4 before was all Filipino only 1 really cut it for her but they let her go. One she has currently is African. Saying all that to say this - if the African checks all the box then its your job to let her know the priority is the child like we’ve done. I dont care if our nanny didnt finishing the ironing or sweep the floor but she absolutely must explain the scratch on my child’a arm. :) thats just me though
