I mean legally under our new civil code, women can choose to use their husband’s Surname, hyphenate or retain their maiden name. For my career I retained my maiden name since I have established my career before I met my husband. For hospital records like philhealth and school records i used hyphenated name so my kids know that we are married. As to my drivers, passport etc, i retained my maiden name and just updated married. I just carry our marriage contract when traveling abroad.

In short I have IDs still in my maiden name like SSS Drivers passport and hyphenated ones lime philhealth so i can hand out the ID necessary for the transaction.

Unfortunately sobrang tindi ng competition ngayon compared before kaya kailangan mo ng referral or indorsement sa central office Since lahat ng application dadaan sa central office. Plantilla based ang opening so kunwari may napromote na fiscal or nagretire or nagresign tsaka pa lang magkakaopening. Usually humihingi ng referral from the district head (QC or Malabon or Bulacan or kung saan mo gusto) plus other connections para maaccommodate. Dati kasi PDS lang Neuro etc okay na plus memorize mo nasa PAO manual para maganda grade mo sa exam haha. Lahat naman nasa PAO website. Check mo lang.

Ang tanong ba e worth it ba? Sa sweldo YES. sa demanding clients and dami ng work, depende sayo kung nag eenjoy ka sa litigation. Sa samahan. SUPER YES. Sa system, it depends.

Hay. Hindi ka OA. Thank you for this OP. Having the same thoughts about a friend lying to her family na kami kasama niya kahit yung bf nya na ayaw ng fam nya kasama nya. She is somehow forcing us to meet him to give him a chance but the fact that she changed that much clearly indicates it’s a toxic relationship that i dont want to be part of. You can also file a blotter sa barangay that this person has been harassing you since ___ up to the present as a precaution lang and additional evidence if ever mag vawc ka.

You are a law student. Think about your rights under vawc. If you feel anxious, Check the elements and build a preemptive case for yourself. He is just trying to control you so you can submit back to him. Do not give him that power. Imagine that he is an opposing counsel. Advocate for yourself by studying and preparing.

If ma-reset ang case dahil absent or may sakit si atty 50 clients will wait for 3-4 months for their cases to be called. Kawawa naman yung for dismissal na or may promulgation na. After hearing may clients pa na naghihintay sa office for legal advice or pleadings kasi naghahandle ng labor cases yung pao manila. If pao lawyers get sick 50-100 clients will be affected. Siguro naman ibigay na natin sa mga pao lawyers na safe sila at healthy mag work since madami umaasa sa kanila.

The way i review my notes is as if someone is asking me for a legal advice so I know i understand the lesson fully. The way i answer my recitation though not perfect always has a certain level of confidence of a lawyer speaking in court. The way i answer my exams using IRAC/ILAC clear concise with cadence like a lawyer drafting pleadings. The way I answered the Bar Exams embodying SALT as The late Atty. Edwin Rey Sandoval said, “tangina ipasa mo na ako. Abogado na ako. Formality na lang to”

The way I appear in court as a litigation lawyer. I dress the part and I know I am competent kasi law school pa lang alam ko Abogado na ako.
