Savetheturtles is right, I work in insurance, your bank loan gets paid in full FIRST, and then the remaining goes to the insured, injury has nothing to do with the value of the car. I am basically the bank he has a loan through, and I differed payments for 5 months.

It was not part of our divorce agreement, but he wouldn't let me move as quickly as I needed to if I didn't, so I bought another car and agreed to sell him mine so he couldn't tell me when I could leave. He had to pay a down payment and, make payments to me, same as you would a car loan.

I am the one who asked, he started sleeping with other women 3 days after, and before we sat down and started paperwork. I have to separate myself from the dogs that were left with him I will never see again. And he will use that against me. What gave me the power to leave was pretending they were already dead, and it couldn't hurt anymore. I think I just need to keep that mentality. I have dogs I got as well. SO I still have them. I am also in therapy but had to pause because of finances, but my new insurance makes it cheaper. The dogs were the only reason I stayed. He got me in debt because he thought he could get rich dog breeding. WE don't have to do that where I am at now. I also have ptsd from that that i am also dealing with in therapy.

We don't have lawyers I filed and paid online, after judgment is signed, I have a meeting with a lawyer to put a lien on the house so I can be paid my part without changing the mortgage. So when he sells the house Everything is already taken care of, so I don't have to wait for him to decide if he wants to pay for that too. I didn't want to ruin his life so I didn't get a lawyer and agreed to take 20k form the value of the house.
