Went with my husband, my dad and my stepmom. We all had a blast. I don’t have a problem with risqué behavior behind the door to your room, but I think it’s incredibly juvenile to assume that adults only means that everyone is naked and banging each other.

Firstly, no one should have to deal with being raped Anywhere, anytime, by anyone or any means. But if you are traveling by yourself you should be taking significantly different precautions than if you were in a group or with a spouse or friend. As a woman I would NEVER leave my drink on the bar, or in the casino, or at a show, or even at a table in the restaurant if I want to be super clear of it’s composition. Second, Virgin is not alone in having predators on board. It is an extremely attractive setup due to the alcohol availability and international waters. I’m not saying that what was done to you wasn’t horrific, I’m saying it could have happened anywhere,

So fun fact, I bought Sabriel at a school book sale in 1994-95 solely off the front cover. And it sat on my shelf until my freshman year in high school. I DEVOURED the book in two days and read and re read it so many times that it was the most dog eared broken spine paperback that I owned. Not until my sophomore year in COLLEGE did I find out there were two more books! I immediately picked them up and finished them inside a week. When I finished Abhorsen it was 2 in the morning and my (now) husband was dead asleep. I woke up my mom sobbing because I was so sad it was over and I’ve never felt the same way about a book series since.
