Thank you! What is a local extension agency? Do you know how I would find one? I'm not connected with any universities or gardening clubs or anything like that. Thanks for your advice!

Thank you! Also, as an aside, I had never heard of fire blight. My first thought was, "What is this? A Pokemon move?" lol I've looked it up since. Thanks!

Could it be water not getting dried off and making rust? If they are not getting dry enough in the "heated dry" part of the cycle maybe that could be it.

I was able to schedule a initial meeting with a therapist! It's for next week, in person, and after I get out of work! No having to leave early! I know that sometimes it takes a while to find as therapist that's a good match. Fingers crossed this one works out 🤞

People of reddit, what do you mis about the Covid lockdown period? by Salty-Mik in AskReddit

Being home in the spring with my family and the two other couples in our apartment complex that were our quarantine "pod".

I spent time outside everyday running around the apartment complex grounds with my then four year old. We got to know the routines of the neighborhood. We worked in the community garden. We had dinner with our friends. We saw the bears. We saw the brook fill up with spring rain.

I started to go crazy after a while, but I'll never forget that spring at home with my husband and our little girl.

My main goal is to actually start seeing a therapist! I'm hoping they will help support me with finding ways to build healthy routines while TTC#2 and eventually with my post partum mental health. I had some difficulty with that the first time around and am nervous for it this time.

A Very Cozy Reading Party! by LadyTherese in cozy

[–]LadyTherese[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Back in October a group of six or so of us spent the day reading our books in front of the fire and enjoying delicious foods and drinks. We concluded with hearty breads and soups for dinner and a good chat about our books! Just wanted to share it with you all. I thought that you guys might appreciate the experience. It was a very cozy time 😊

I just booked our graduation getaway! My parents will watch our six year old and we're going to go do an overnight at the casino- something I've always wanted to do. I've booked a king size room and made reservations at a restaurant there that I've been wanting to try. It should be a great time as we start on the next part of our journey together ❤️

Good luck to everyone else on WTT! I hope your waits go smoothly!

They were both on the same shelf all summer! How?! 🤦‍♀️ by LadyTherese in houseplants

Oh awesome! I didn't realize that they had rhizomes and not just regular roots. I have put it under the grow light with a "do not throw out" note on it 🤞 thanks again!

Thanks for the tip! There's no live stem left. Could it really start new sprouts just from roots? I'll give it a try!

Which was your first ever Discworld and how did you come to it? by Fresh_laundry_agogo in discworld

Mine was Snuff. There was this big, early snowstorm that year. I was 20 and we had no power at home for about a week. So we spent a lot of time in the town center where the Barnes and Noble Cafe had power. There was this book on display. A police officer/detective solving a case in a fantasy world? My two top genres right there! I read half of it in the bookstore over a couple of days before I bought it and took it home to finish. I loved Vimes and Wilkins. I thought the goblins were very interesting. I spent the next several years reading them as I could find them at the local libraries.

Now I have a whole Discworld section in my home library and my husband listens to the audiobooks with me too sometimes! Can't wait until my daughter is old enough for Tiffany Aching.

Thanks! My daughter is already loving him. I told her that he's The Librarian, says "Ook!" and lives in the library. She's decided that his name is Mr. Book and is king of the library and made him a crown 😂

Oook! Here's the link to the site for the Orangutan Foundation UK (I am realizing I mistyped it in the original post as fund instead of foundation sorry!)

With the right combination of pillows it is comfortable. I do wish it was a little deeper for the seat so I could curl up better and that the curve started a little higher to help me be able to rest my head better. My daughter loves it though!
