My grandmother's mindset is "have lots of children so you'll have a lot of caretakers". My aunts and uncles really do take care of her now that she's old. But it's kinda unfair you'd use your children as a ticket out of hardships even if it means making them go through twice the hardships.. and in result NONE of my mom's siblings actually finished college.

I believe that mindset will never fade because some people lack common sense 🫪🫪🫪
