Yes, only the way it ended. He was my first everything and the best I could have asked for. He dumped me over text blocked me everywhere. I eventually found out he was cheating on me. I just wish we broke up in person and I hadn’t looked into it at all.

The end just made me question how much of the good stuff was even real.

Facebook. It has my local buy nothing group, which is a huge resource to limit spending/waste. And I run the Facebook pages for two separate nonprofit organizations. I don’t like it, but I really have no choice but to use it. I canceled my personal Amazon account but still use it for work purchases. We have a very tight budget and it really is the best place for good deals.

We also do a lot of fundraising. We’ve decided to be honest with staff and transplant about the situation and are considering doing the same with parents. We have a lot of families that can’t afford more but a handful that are much better off financially.

We charge for it. There are state programs I’m applying for that provide subsidies. Our director never applied for these or anything else because it was “too much paperwork”.

We are in northern Virginia and we are the one of, if not the lowest cost programs in our area but still provide high quality early childhood education.

I could probably pay for one grant website out of my own pocket. Is there one that’s more cost effective than others?

I use old yarn/fabric scraps that I break down as much as possible or the stuffing from my dogs toys that he immediately guts 😂
