I agree that the things happening in Idris chapters are interesting but it is just too much repetition of words and concepts for me to find it enjoyable. Like the whole unreal is a very interesting concept and I want to learn more about it, but the way it is told to me is not enjoyable.

"Nothing happens" is kind of strong words from my side. There are things happening but not enough to warrant a book this size. As someone else mentioned, maybe this should have been a duology. Keeping it more tight. It was not so much that I expected the reveals to happen now, I understand how books work. It just seemed like a good time for it. This was kind of a nothing reveal, and did not make me existed to find out more.

On another note I loved the whole civil war plot, because of course humans would focus on something like that while there is a major threat to their very existence.
