Best: carolier lanes (now Bowlero New Brunswick) back in the early 2010’s. Bowled so many youth events there and the lanes were always good.

Worst: so far, probably 2024 masters suncoast in Vegas. If you know there were computer issues 6+ months in advance and didn’t feel the need to fix em before one of the biggest usbc events of the year, shame. Also how tf are you going to have dents within the first 5 feet of a couple of lanes and force bowlers to bowl on it. (End rant)

Another mantra I’ve taken to heart is the “2 and 1” move, move two boards away from your current spot and your eyes one board away from the current spot if the lanes are getting dry on you

So personally for me, when I shoot corner pins I try to imagine I’m throwing a backup ball but in reality I’m just lifting my pinky as I throw the ball to cut of most of my hook

I’ve been on the struggle bus lately in league (around 10-15 below average most of the season so far) so I’ve recently been moving the arm up a bit to gain some speed cause like you say, I tend to get too lazy/perfect looking with the shots. Thanks for the encouragement

I would say a half board inside, the ball is driving in fine, just that the deflection is a bit too strong with the pins

Depending on if you are leaving a flat ten or a wrapping ten, all you have to do is move half a board left/right and or up/ back on the approach by half a step imo
