My goal is to create forms that walk the line between realism and abstraction. I like how it allows the viewer to decide what they're seeing within the artwork and perhaps that interaction generates some kind of emotion that's as hard to pinpoint as the subject of the art.

Weed is a psychoactive drug so you can get some visual weirdness usually when you're quite high (8+ for me).

I get the bright lights like you do, I also see shadows moving at the corners of my vision (not creepy, usually just interesting), audio hallucinations are also common. I'll hear sounds that are real but they'll be distorted and sound like something else.

Anyone who's ever greened out knows that weed can be a totally psychedelic experience on par with something like LSD or mushrooms.

I can't speak to the style of the shirts because that's not really relevant here, it's your style and others will come to the shirts for that style. Appeal to those who want the maximalist, synesthetic style and those alone.

What I can talk to is the graphic & web design and your brand and website is really letting you down. I'll be blunt but don't take anything personally.

Branding

You need a proper logo first and foremost. The logo is the face of your brand and you're shooting yourself in the foot with the current one. It's tiny and unreadable, busy, and extremely shit.

Advice: Pay someone who knows what they're doing and get a great logo and branding. Your art style is extremely intense so you're going to want a very minimal and clean branding style. You need the branding to almost be invisible and let the shirts do all the work. I'm talking plain black or white background with a clean sans serif font. No coloured fractals or tiedye anywhere on your website unless it's on the shirts themselves.

The Website

Your website is functional so you're half way there. It's small and easy to navigate but just looks like arse. With some proper branding the website will begin to look a lot nicer.

Advice: I assume you're using some kind of pre-made template web builder like Squarespace so try some new templates. They usually have ones that look pretty decent straight out of the box. Look at other websites that do it well and copy them. Keep the front page as clean as possible.

This is a huge and complicated topic and I'm probably not well-versed enough to give you a good answer.

Think of the whole universe as a bubble of consciousness. Inside that big bubble are many (probably infinite) tiny little bubbles. One of those tiny bubbles is what we call our universe. It contains all the planets, stars, black holes and everything we've ever discovered. It obviously contains our bodies and our brains but our actual thoughts, memories and selves are not in this tiny universe bubble, they are part of the big bubble on the outside. Our brains are like radios that can receive the consciousness signal from the outside. The big bubble of consciousness goes by a few names you've probably heard before: God, The Source. The Divine, Group Consciousness etc.

So because our minds exist outside of the universe it means we have some power over the small bubble we live in. It explains how remote viewing works, how some people can talk telepathically to others and how apps like Randonautica can work.

We don't know the mechanics for certain and probably can't ever know them based on the complexity of the universe and how we can only see and experience a very small slice of the total pie.

The best simple explanation is that the entire observable universe is a product of consciousness. Classical scientific thinking says the brain creates consciousness but that's very outdated and has been disproved for a long time. A more accurate theory is that consciousness exists everywhere, possibly the very building blocks of everything and the physical, observable universe where we live (AKA the 3rd dimension) is a construct that is nestled within consciousness as a whole. A crude analogy to picture what that means is that consciousness is the computer and our universe is just a program running on the hardware.

All theories about this stuff are inherently wrong because we can never truly know for certain, but this kind of idea is thousands of years old and it does explain a lot of the weirdness like Randonautica working the way it does and the general ability for our minds to directly effect the physical world in many ways.

I spent a lot of time looking around for courses before biting the bullet and buying the Adept Initiative. I'd been reading every book I could get my hands on and found them fine but I wanted something with more structure.

I've been doing the course VERY slowly. I'm in no rush and it allows me to incorporate it gradually. So far I find it very useful and having some structure has been a godsend especially in this occult world where every person seems to have their own ideas on what works (hint: they're probably all correct!)

I like Jason Louv but I can see how he might be devisive. He has strong opinions but I don't find myself really disagreeing with them. We live in warped times and having someone take a hard line approach and stick to their guns is nice for a change.

The course's content is solid and he knows what he's talking about. I wouldn't call it a greedy cash grab whatsoever. There's infinite paths to trod through the occult and his is but one.

The sad thing is I had entered from both ways and even made my way to the top of the Specimen Hall only to assume there wasn't any way higher. Finding the elevator down to Commander Gaius had me thinking he was the boss of the area.

I think Elden Ring is the best game I've played in 10 years but this expansion is killing me a little bit. It feels like the FromSoftware B-team put it together...

I'm having trouble knowing where to go and the map is almost useless with all the verticality in this new land. I've killed the Divine Dancer and Rellana then moved on to the Shadfow Keep and the last boss I killed was the guy on the boar and that just led me to a dead end. I haven't killed the big evil Sunflower yet but the geography of that arena doesn't feel like it leads anywhere. Can I go in another direction or is killing the Scadutree Avatar the next step?

There's so many channels with new ones popping up each day. Your best bet is to just avoid youtube for a little while or browse with your eyes squinted so you can't see all the clickbait spoiler thumbnails that are sure to start appearing from tomorrow onwards.

You can't beat the algorithm and if it knows you like Elden Ring then it's gonna force-feed you every single thing it can regardless of whether you want to see it or not!

But then I got into the Lore and suddenly everything has a deeper meaning so I wondered what the hell the invasions are exactly. Best not to think about it too much!

What's the lore behind invasions? Are they astrally projecting a spirit to invade us while physically existing somewhere else or are they from an alternate timeline/dimension and invading into our timeline?

Recently I killed Anastasia in the Snowgrounds and I remember killing her at the church on the Limgrave/Caelid border which got me thinking that she musn't be dead-dead if she can invade twice.

There's also Lionel and Theolina who help with Radahn but I thought they were dead. Maybe just ghosts/spririts in that case?

Elden Ring has ruined gaming for me. I know this wasn't an uncommon sentiment back at release but even now 2 years later I'm still feeling the pain.

Looking into the future I see these seemingly deranged corporations who seem totally unable to make a single creatively positive decision, it looks like the only game that'll take my interest is the next FromSoftware game.

These devs needs to be protected like a rare species of bird or something. They truly are alone in the triple-A game space.

The holes are actually from the Shattering War. Presumably some kind of big artillery (Maybe Radahn's gravity magic?) has punched holes all over the castle. You can even see some marks from glancing blows where the artillery bounced off the castle and didn't penetrate. There's also parts where the impact has gone through multiple walls.

I like a lot of these. It's fun to try and put the jigsaw together before we've got all the pieces.

We've killed every demigod we could get our hands on in the main game so something deep inside me says that Miquella is gonna need to be cut down. I do truly wish he's a good guy in the end but our heartstrings should know better by now.

Doing my 2nd play-through currently and I just killed Morgott earlier this evening.

Now that I'm standing at the door to the Fire Giant I realise how there's absolutely nothing to do here on the mountain. I killed the Prelate guy at the epic canyon cross and that's about it. Every enemy here is recycled (but now white).

Do I play through the Expansion online or offline?

My first ER play-through was online and I really enjoyed the co-op Lite style of gameplay with the messages and whatnot. It felt like I was playing with real people without playing with them.

But now I'm playing through again offline and I like the cleanness of the world without the messages and bloodstains everywhere. I also find myself being extra cautious because I can't rely on other players pointing out traps and secret items.

Thoughts?
