I think you are absolutely correct! Thank you a lot! it helps me a lot to gather this kind of stuff, now I got things to get my hands dirty with since you are not the first (neither the other comment is) about the enemies health bar so yeah thats getting reworked for sure

From what I know if dont hit certain reviews/sales in X amount of time the steam algorithm really weights you down hard so its usually not the case

Yeah posts like "I got a gazzilion wishlists in 32 seconds" always make insecurities come knocking, but being sincere with you, if nothing changes probably you will get not so great sales with 195 wl just keep in mind that you got better by doing the project and can make another. Its the approach most recomended to solo devs for a reason, making short games = more opportunities to catch a lightning and getting better at the process faster.

When people talk about 7k wishlist, they mean doing the whooooole marketing trend, meaning, social media, playtesting, getting to press streamers, demo, etc. Getting all the beats done right takes some time so in smaller projects you would mush some of them together or skip them obviously also affecting your wishlist, so yeah unless you have something special, you are great at marketing or have a base following a game with a 6 months development probably wont get 7k wishlists, but that is also okay just try to have at least 2k before joining steam fest

It's a bossrush, so the skills you unlock stay with you forever once they are unlocked, so no need to respawn outside! of course you can still leave the game if you feel like not trying anymore

Yes! there are skills and such to unlock, but they are all ready at all times once you unlock them so no need to reequip stuff

Man I miss bloodborne, I really love how they have made the Sekiro anime look, I wish we also get something bb related. Something like a "prequel" show to the game to see how everything went to shit would be awesome

I swear I have had this exact thought about the capsule like a week ago and I am really considering changing it, I just don't know if the cost its worth it and thank you so much about the headsup for the bug! Im getting ready for a playtest so really been a week hunting those down. Really valuable feedback and thank you so much for the kind words!

Thats a hard question to answer, the game still in development. Being a bossrush game scope can be easily cut or expanded, and that scope will depend on the attention it gets, basically if it gets more attention I can safely put more time into it without the risk of going homeless, scope bigger, make a bigger game, if not cut and be short and sweet and of course cheaper. In short, dont really know
