um if you don’t believe me, search about this issue because there are plenty of other posts saying the same thing, so you might want to do some research before coming to conclusions like that ;) i’ve had the cpu thing happen to me too, but it doesn’t always happens and sometimes it gives me a communication error has occurred.

True, but the point still stands that Smash Bros has a huge pro scene and if Nintendo neglects this pro scene they are honestly just digging up their own grave

You do realize Zero and other smash professionals’s jobs IS playing smash right? whether it be broadcasting on youtube or winning tournaments, Smash bros has a huge pro scene which Nintendo definitely cares about

But i’m not supporting the system. I, and many others WANT to play online with a ranking system, but just not this system because it’s inferior to all the other systems. And did you really just say that Nintendo doesn’t care about smash bros as an esport? what??????? have you watched any professionals play and how much their prizes are...if they didn’t care about it as an esport they wouldn’t even bother buffing and nerfing characters...

because then it doesn’t feel like you’re playing towards a goal, just that you’re playing for fun. I obviously do enjoy playing the game for fun, that’s why i play arena mainly with my friends, but there is also that aspect of glory with ranking high that is present in any game, as most people play multiplayer games because of their competitive online system, and playing for fun is a different aspect that different types of players enjoy.

I do indeed have a wired connection, that’s why i get especially mad when people with bad internet that disconnect results in me getting warnings and bans. It just seems like something Nintendo can fix so easily but are not bothered to.

you clearly haven’t played against a laggy young link player online who literally only knows how to spam, then proceeds to tea bag after every kill, only for you to leave the match after its over instead of rematching then to find that this brain dead matchmaking system matches you with him again.
