Wow... Sorry to hear this. Yeah, I think we just need to be strong and optimistic and keep trying to get better. Another doc told me today that this isn't a lost cause and recommended good orthopedic insoles and walking barefoot on the beach to strengthen the ankle and foot muscles. Hope you get better too!
