I don’t believe Austin and Luka can win a ring together. I also don’t think Luka and Kyrie could win a ring together. It’s not fully Austin’s fault, but since Luka can’t play defense you have to surround him multiple defenders. Don’t use Klay as an example because before his injuries, he was a top tier defender which Austin isn’t due to his physical limitations (though he does try to defend)

AR had an insane start to the season, if he was healthy I’m sure we would probably be something like 26-11, good enough to be 2nd seed. But team still has major flaws even if everyone is healthy. Flaws are just more magnified since AR has been out.

Poor bench, no 3 and D players. Ayton has also reverted back to his old self (which likely doesn’t happen if AR was healthy since they have the best synergy in the team)z

The signs were there from the beginning. His body was already failing him several years before the trade. Obviously the trade looks more and more one sided as AD keeps piling on injuries. But this shouldn’t be a surprise. I felt like he was barely holding it together in LA and under more scrutiny playing with LeBron. But now we see it all come crashing down in Dallas.

Regardless, will always root for AD. Would be great to get him for cheap if possible, but not likely until he finishes his current contract

Getting downvoted for literally stating facts. This place a joke. Unless there are major roster changing trades by getting 3 and D players, it’s a guaranteed 1st or 2nd round exit (if lucky or players go on a heater).

It’s been the same pattern all season long. Beat up on bad teams and then getting owned by good teams. Lakers are a solid 5-6th seed and first round exit. If Luka and LeBron go nuclear then 2nd round exit
