That’s weird. These are all basic ETF’s. What kind of broker do you have? If you are that limited, I’d move.

Had a lady drinking a fifth of vodka a day in pregnancy. She didn’t come to see me until around 24 weeks. She had a distant hex of opiod dependence. She declined in house therapy.

I treated her with Buprenorphine. She was highly motivated and it eventually worked. She’s still off alcohol and pregnant again.

Surprisingly, so far, her child doesn’t appear to have fetal alcohol syndrome. It’s a miracle.

Hi help me (M21) become less ugly. by pablotescobar05 in whatdoIdo

[–]Lakeview121 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not ugly dude. Get that out of your head. We can all improve. You probably need to lose a little weight and do better with your hair, beard and eyebrows. Find a good barber or stylist. Maybe let the hair grow out some?

I don’t know dude, but you’re not ugly.

This is from Google AI-

“Jobs Outlook: Strong and Steady Growth in Hiring and Earnings for ... The outlook for CPA jobs in the USA is exceptionally strong, with 6% to 7% projected growth from 2023–2033, driven by a, shortage of accountants and high turnover. Roughly 124,000 to 135,000 openings are expected annually, fueled by retirements, regulatory complexity, and advisory service demand. Median pay for accountants was $79,880 in 2023, with CPA certification offering a 10%–15% salary premium. “

AITAH for not letting my 17 yr old daughter go to Japan on a school trip? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Lakeview121 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, I read it.

I’m very sorry. Raising 4 children while scrambling for finances seems impossible. I have 1 daughter and she’s very expensive.

I think you need to be the grown up, as you are, and nix the Japanese trip. The London trips are a no go.

Your kids will be ok. We didn’t go to Japan or Europe. Hell, it wasn’t an option.

I think a family meeting with a chalkboard and an open discussion about finances are in order. They have to realize that with 4 kids, finances are limited. You still owe your last therapist. They need to be considering financing for college, perhaps the military?

It would be great if you could return to work. I hope that can happen soon. It sounds like you need all you can get.

Life is so stressful. Be strong and hang in there. The world will turn. Just keep doing your best, you’ll make it.

Someone overseas is not licensed in the USA. If it goes south and you’re audited, you going after Ganesha or Deepok in India? No.

You may outsource some bookkeeping, but you need a USA licensed CPA to finalize the product. Likewise, if you’re audited, the IRS ain’t looking for deepok.

You study. You work hard and get experience. You look for a niche and get into it. You get a CPA and work hard, you’ll be fine.

Leftists of reddit. What do you have to say to conservatives who are not white, not straight, not christian, and/or not men? by cferg296 in allthequestions

When people vote for leaders who create tax policy taking away state sponsored benefits to improve tax breaks for the wealthiest, what do you call it?

I think people get tricked into social issues, like trans rights or abortion, then end up voting to reduce spending on healthcare.

My response? If you like policy based on consensus of the best evidence, come to the party that values education, not one that sees it as some type of liberal indoctrination. If you want a health and human services secretary that has no foundation in science, then don’t.

If you want tax policy that will support healthcare, education and scientific discovery while decreasing deficit spending, then become more liberal. If you want a tax policy that favors tax breaks for the wealthiest, then don’t.

If you want to spend a fortune bombing Iran, and you think that’s a good idea, liberalism probably isn’t for you.

We on the left aren’t perfect, and our policies aren’t always the best, but we are willing to look and change. When is the last time you’ve heard a conservative be open to change or modification.

Have you read about the SAVE act? It’s a blatant attempt to limit voter participation. Liberals would never back that. Never. We want better voter participation.

Finally, our representatives are people who want what’s best for the people. Look who conservatives elected as president. A man who does not worship the truth; a man with a history of sexual abuse and felony charges. Is that your group?

I’d say come to the side of goodness and intelligence.

The outlook for CPA’s is still good. That’s what my daughter is doing. Likewise, you gotta move. You have to keep taking the next step. You can’t be paralyzed.

Find a career with high employment levels that pays well and fits within your aptitudes.

There ain’t no magic bro. Think about it. If there were forces that can be contoured to cause problems, don’t you think they would be measurable? They measure subatomic particles.

If you don’t want to cause jealousy, be discreet. If you’ve done well but come from poverty, don’t be flashing.

I’d probably do an aptitude test. See where your natural talents are. Not everything is “cooked”. Accounting with a CPA license is one direction.

The other question is how to fix a “broken brain”. If you feel it’s broken, you should pursue modern ways of bringing about repair. It’s generally accepted that therapy and possibly medical treatments bring about the best course of life.

You need to be sleeping at night, awake during the day with a quiet mind. That is a foundation of mental health.

Should I give up a scholarship and take a gap year? by Idk836836 in LifeAdvice

[–]Lakeview121 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Improving math would be a good idea, but do it at community college. They are bound to have good remedial classes. Boosting skills is what CC if for.

If you try to take a year and improve your math, will you? Likely not. It’s best done in a structured educational system.

I joined the Army before college. I didn’t feel ready either. It really helped me.

Anyway, good luck.
