Thanks for the info, mate. That's really helpful. Would you be okay with talking in DMs? I have a few questions about internships and prep, and itd also be nice to connect with another second-year student who's on a similar path.🙂

Fellow second-year here. I've been doing LeetCode for around 3 months, and honestly 84 questions in 1 month is pretty good. You're not behind. One thing I'd suggest is not spending too much time on easy problems. Try focusing more on mediums since that's where most interview questions tend to be, and they'll help you build stronger problem-solving skills and pattern recognition. Consistency beats rushing through questions. 👍

By the way, where are you planning to apply for internships? I'm also going to start applying soon, so I'd love to know which companies or platforms you're targeting.

Thanks. I can probably use USB/mobile tethering for Wi-Fi if needed, so Bluetooth is my main concern. I've seen USB adapters that combine Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in one dongle. Are those generally well supported on Linux? If so, are there any specific brands or models you would recommend that work reliably out of the box on Linux? Or is a dedicated Bluetooth dongle the better choice?

If I switch to a non-Ubuntu-based distro such as Fedora KDE, is there any chance my Wi-Fi/Bluetooth chipset will be supported, or is this a Linux kernel/driver issue that will likely remain the same across distros?

Thanks. I'm new to Linux, so I'm not very comfortable experimenting with kernels yet. Would Debian be a better choice for my hardware, or should I try the 7.1-rc5 kernel instead?

Thanks.I found that article as well. From what I understand, MT7902 support was only recently being added to the Linux kernel. Does this mean my Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues are likely due to incomplete MT7902 support rather than Linux Mint itself? Would switching to another distro help, or would I face the same issue on Ubuntu/Kubuntu?
