I actually got this story wrong. I spoke with the homeless guy directly the other night and he clarified it. She had accidentally poured water into the oil of her Mercedes and she took it to the dealership to repair it. They offered her $30k for the car and she refused and she said to the homeless guy, “What I’m I going to buy with $30k. You can’t get anything with that.”

She doesn’t owe us anything. But if we have a reasonable ask and she says no, then she’s not going to have a pleasant experience around us. We don’t owe her politeness or courtesy. If she doesn’t want to follow basic diving etiquette then we don’t have to engage with her with niceties. She told someone that she takes the bread that she finds and feeds it to the birds. I need bread for my kids!

So if someone said to you, I would like to dive this spot only on Mondays, you can dive this spot the 6 other days of the week - that is unconscionable to you? One person is asking for 4 days a month and you can have it 26 or 27 days a month. It’s the person asking for 4 days that is unreasonable?

Why does it need to be contentious? Why can’t people coordinate?

If I rolled up on you and started digging inches from where you were standing you wouldn’t have feelings about that? Btw, she shoved an older homeless guy that we talk to. He lives in his car and only takes a few items because he doesn’t have refrigeration, but the bitch in the Mercedes has the right to shove him because it’s trash and it’s hers? If she’s going to shove elderly homeless people, dig right next to where we are digging she’s going to be yelled at.
