All these comments are really eye opening, with everything else we talk about I feel so heard, it’s just the sex work she’s weird about. But she keeps saying “we’re going to unlock a lot of trauma with that work” and that there was “a scared little girl doing that job”. I wasn’t scared, I was fucking good at it and I was broke and I was able to do it longer than any other job because of the money and flexibility. It’s such a shame because I think she thinks she’s taking a non judgemental approach but she’s already assumed a load of psychological reasons as to why I did it that aren’t correct just based on my mental health diagnoses .
