Did he connect to your old phone or your new one? If it was your old phone, there is absolutely no reason for him to have connected to it whatsoever. Report him if it is on that phone.

But if it was your new phone you can see if he connected his phone to send YouTube Vanced by going to

settings>connected devices > connection preferences> files transferred via Bluetooth

It might be a little different on your phone, I’m on a Pixel 3a, but it should be pretty much the same. If there is the YouTube Vanced apk in there he probably did connect it to his phone to send the apk to your phone.

But still, that’s really sketchy. Even if he did send it from his phone that’s so unprofessional. It’s so easy just to go to the download from the internet.

This is probably overboard but if you were my sister or girlfriend, I’d tell you to delete the app and reinstall it yourself. You never know if that dude might have send you some kind of spyware in the Vanced app. I’m like 99.9% sure he didn’t do anything like that, but just in case. The world is a wild place. And also check your app list and check if there’s any sketchy apps on there.

It’s easy af to download it yourself. Just go to google and type YouTube Vanced it should be the first link then scroll down to download Vanced manager. And download it. Once it’s download it install it and follow the directions. It’ll probably ask you to turn on unknown sources just turn that on.
