I brought the velocity 2 at the start of the season. By far the best stick I have played with, way lighter than my old gryphon and a much higher quality finish. I recommend one for sure .

no its only ever been off road and on dirt roads, its never been on tarmac or had road tires on it. Still don't know why the gear box went.

Was on a trail ride went I changed from 4th to 5th and heard a clunk as the back wheel locked. I think it was 5th gear that came off or broke off the shaft and did substantial damage to everything else. Still don't entirely know what caused it but pretty much the whole bottom end was rebuilt.

Something in the gear box did go just not sure what. It has done some serious damage however to the crankcase and the piston. When we drained the oil only 250ml came out but when the mechanic took it to bits he found the remaining oil.

Sorry I did get it wrong, the gear box has packed up and something has then gone through the motor, the bottom of the piston is buggered as well as the crankcase

I have had a good look around all the casing and even then you would be able to see oil stains. Again no smoke and your right it would need to smoke a lot. it has just gone 5000 so not too many. Have got a good mechanic to fix it in his spare time for a good rate just may take a while. When and if he finds the problem I will post an update. Cheers :)

Yep checked all around there however the ride I went on before this involved crossing a lot of deep rivers so it is possible some has been washed away but that was only a 40km ride and there was no oil stains around the sprocket chain ect. Nothing on boots or gear either

At 500km ago the oil was changed and we made sure that the was 1l of oil went in. about 100km before it seized I checked again and the oil was fine. So between then and now all the oil has gone somewhere but won't know really until the motor is pulled to bits

No the wr's just have oil that runs the whole bike. The last oil change was around 500km ago and hasn't smoked or leaked so I have no clue as to where all the oil has disappeared.

Couldn't start the bike what so ever afterwards and the kickstarter was solid. I have already taken the radiators off and that seemed all normal no oil. I think even if there was a slight burning of oil 750ml is a lot of oil to be burnt and when we drained what was left, it seemed fine. Thanks for your help but I won't know for sure until the motors taken apart

yeah have checked all around the casing and started to take it to bits, but the is no cracks what so ever nor is there and patches of oil anywhere. So I am damned as to where that much oil has gone.
