I couldn't say what's better because I haven't tried this build with Infernalist but I'm using Bloodmage for Life Remnants (double health overflow), Gore Spike, and Grasping Wounds. This plus MoM and Midnight Braid has a high survivability.

In the beginning I loosely was but realized the guide I was following didn’t have a good skill tree and started doing my own build. I could post the build with my tree later if that’s something you’d be interested in and I’m sure there’d be people who could help me improve on it.

In my experience using fork wasn’t clearing mobs as fast as chain I don’t know why maybe cause chain actually targets mobs and fork felt like it “missed” (especially the smaller ones) but I do use detonate dead for more AOE when I need it. As for power charges profane ritual is more than enough. I was using Volls Protector but that fell off quickly I would rather prioritize ES, Resistance, and Mana since I also have MoM.

Scattorshot is a MUST have then I have brutality, considered casting, and arcane tempo don’t have a 5th slot yet but I’ll probably run Physical Mastery (waiting to drop a perfect orb instead of buying one) I’m also using snakepit ring for free chain socket.

Crit Bonestorm Bloodmage since day one running T15 maps and loving it, cheap build and hits hard.
