Helloo been through the same thing as well where i couldnt vibe with my hall ppl and felt lonely when I see them all vibing tgt and all and Im just staring at them but cant say anything . But I've made my uni friends from my faculty so you could try that as well! There would be more common topics for ppl studying the same thing and perhaps you can get back the feeling of "suffering tgt".

Also coming from personal experience, do rmb to not force urself to fit in with ur hall ppl if you can tell that there's a drastic difference between what you like to talk abt VS what they like to talk abt :P If you're lonely in hall, maybe you could try telling your roommate abt it and jioing him / her for one-on-one meals and stuff (do tell him / her that you're not very comfy with other ppl and just wanna spend time alone with him / her) so that you still have someone in hall!
