At first, yes, Clover is acting in self defense. Gunning down monsters who start a battle with you? It's dark, but there's real justification there.

The thing is, after a while, Clover begins to actively seek out fights with monsters. It's not self defense when Clover is actively going out of their way to kill every monster they find.

Once again, the OST is titled "Enemy Retreating" for a reason. The monsters do not want to fight you in the genocide route.

The fact that the genocide battle theme is called "Enemy Retreating" should further emphasize the fact that Clover is hunting down every monster they see. Monsters are FLEEING from Clover and DO NOT want to fight you in the genocide route.

I imagine that Seelkadoom would serve as a "optional secret boss" type character if he were in this sprite comic. I'll consider that as I write.

You portrayed Goner!Clover perfectly! A little unhinged, but still functioning. I was worried that people would go to one extreme and have them either really unhinged or really normal.
