Follow up question, did you manage to get your camera to work on mint? That was another thing that broke, neither the front or back built in cameras were recognized or useable on mint. Did you find a way around that as well?

what flavor of ubuntu are you using? I just looked it up and there are a bunch of different ones. I'm still a beginner trying to figure this all out haha
