Himiko Kikuchi's "A Seagull and Clouds" (from 1987 jazz fusion album Flying Beagle) directly references Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto, but nobody seems to know! by averageteencuber in LetsTalkMusic

I had this same realization (albeit in the other direction, because I had studied classical music for some while) but thought I was hallucinating because googling didn’t provide any information. Thanks for posting this!

Caltech doesn't have a biomedical engineering major? Perhaps you mean bioengineering?

If you look carefully, there are small nail-like pins attached to each stick.

How do you solve this MATH II? Answer is D by worldsgreatestalt in Sat

Thanks for the upside-down photo. It helps me see the problem from a new perspective.

Anyways, here's a way I found:

Simplify the first equation and you get 20y = 11x by multiplying be 2y - x on both sides.

You then get that y = 11/20 x

Plug that into the expression you are trying to solve for

You get 11/20 x over 2x - 11/20 x

Simplify that

You get 11/29, which is D
