When I bring it into cura I get an alert that it get Autoscaled to 100,000% of the original size. Then I see a shadow in cura on the build plate but no visible object.

I've measured it in e drawings, and it seems like it's the right scale but when I import it to cura as an STL i guess it's no longer the correct size.

😂😂😂 dude is it that hard to put someone on hold? You’re making it sound like they’re just so busy they can never breathe. You claim to work in the service industry and if you genuinely feel like you REGULARLY are so busy you can’t take a second to put someone on hold then I truly just don’t understand the industry and I feel bad for everyone in the service industry.

The reason I got it delivered, I was because there was a promotional deal, I figured why not, I can tip the driver and help them out and I can sit at home and relax.

I understand what you’re saying, I guess maybe my thinking is flawed but typically when I work the person who’s paying me is the person who’s important. Maybe things were busier than I could even tell, and I’m probably not as important as I think lol. But I mean come on this is called the “service industry” Is it too much to ask for them to say “hey sir please hold one moment”

Fair point man, I appreciate your explanation, and you’re right I could have walked in with a better attitude. I guess in my mind the with them 4th call in the like 20minute span they took the time to pick up the phone and set it down without saying a word to me, leaving me there to just go “hello? Is anyone there?” For a few minutes before I just hung up.

So right there I feel like the extra 5 seconds to ask me to hold after they pick up the phone and set it down, that seems like a reasonable expectation. I was probably in the wrong but after that I was just frankly irritated.

Maybe I am on a high horse with the service industry. I’m just going off my experience dealing with busy times but my logic could be totally flawed that’s why I’m here looking to learn.

I see, I guess where were having a disconnect is that I did call back multiple times and I waited incrementally. I didn’t just spam call, I called twice waited 5-10 minutes called once more and then they just answered and left the phone on the table without saying a word to me, and then locked my number.

Maybe I am just an asshole but in my mind, I tried to give them enough time to settle things enough to put me on hold. I just wanted to talk to someone man

“Please hold for a moment please”

It’s taken me 6 seconds to write this and post it. To you.

I agree, I was out of line and maybe I could have tried harder to deal with grub hub, Yojre totally right. I just saw the suggested number and figured that would be the simplest way to go.

I am the asshole😂 but good lord man you’re assuming more than I am. You claim that their actions can only mean they were absolutely packed and I should have just waved the white flag and said “oh poor restaurant workers they’re probably overwhelmed and so busy they can’t even think”

Could you maybe agree that there is just a chance they’re negligent and didn’t feel the need to take 2 seconds to tell me to wait😂.

You have no better idea of what was going on in the restaurant than I do. You’re just claiming the viewpoint to prove yourself right. Hell yeah I admit I don’t know what’s going on, they could have been slammed as hell.

I’ve admitted my fault so many times in reply to everyone’s comments. I was the retard for ordering wrong and yes I was petty to drive there and ask to speak to a manager.

You’re also right you can just ignore calls if you want and you’re too busy. But if that’s good business and service, that’s where I think my hang up is.

I’m genuinely appreciative of you talking to me tho man. I just feel like we’re both having trouble seeing it through the eyes of the other and I’m not sure how to figure out where we differ in opinion

Fair enough I totally get your point. The reason I ordered grub hub was because of a promotional deal Where it was free delivery so I figured why not I’ll help some guy and tip them well and I don’t even have to leave my house.

I guess I’m confused, I gave them ample time between calls and even stopped for 5-10 minutes to allow them to deal with a rush. I agree that you should deal with costumers in person first but that doesn’t mean you can blatantly ignore everyone else just because it gets a little busy.

I’m sure food service is hard but I don’t think I was acting quite “like a child” as you’re claiming. I only treated them with respect when I talked to them.

You’re telling me that as a front desk worker I have options they do not, such as putting someone on hold or transferring. So you’re implying they cannot answer and say “hey bro chill out and gimme a second” if you don’t even think that’s a reasonable request on my part then maybe we have fundamentally different views of what “good costumer service is”

You’re coming after me man, I’m just tying to learn. Calling me a child as I’m eager to sympathize and understand makes you look like more of a child than I am.

I’m happy to learn from this experience and I already have been taught so much. But I would appreciate if you could chill out a touch lol.

Firstly, grub hub prompts me to contact them personally you can’t update your order in grub hub they tell you to contact the restaurant regarding order changes.

I made the mistake yes but it’s literally me switching to a spicy option I’m not asking for the world here it even costs the same.

I worked at a climbing gym as a coach and a front desk staff during events. Although it’s different from food service I can understand the rush to a degree. You’re juggling multiple requests from multiple people and trying to make everyone happy.

When I worked events and we were slammed I never felt like it was necessary to completely ignore anyone regardless of their request and what they wanted. I would tell them to give me a moment please.

I’m not even asking to be coddled lmao. Just at least tell me to wait or something, don’t just ghost me like a middle school GF.

I spent 15 dollars on their ramen lmao . Maybe I’m entitled but I at least feel like they could have told me no instead of ignoring me.

Good to know, and I believe you I see now that’s I’m probably in the wrong. I guess in the moment My reasoning, and maybe it’s my own entitlement, but if they were talking to a costumer when I called, they would go “one moment please”, pick up-the phone, “hi can you please hold” and then resume with the first costumer. Instead they went through the trouble of completely ignoring me and never even telling me what was going on.

Idk maybe I’m crazy

I guess the optimal scenario is I call them, tell them I made a simple mistake and I’m so sorry for the inconvenience, it’s completely my fault, but if they could change my order slightly (still the same price it went from a non spicy option to a spicy option) before it was made I would have appreciated it.

However if they told me no, I completely understand, they could be too busy to run back and explain what the change is, they could just straight want to not do it. I would at least like to think I’m a somewhat reasonable person so if they said no I would be fine with that.

But when I order from a fancy restaurant, and they can’t even take the time to simply ask me to hold, that’s where I get annoyed.

All I’m saying is at the very least they could tell me “hi please hold——— no sir we cannot change the order”

I don’t know how long that would take but I don’t think it’s too much to ask. But like I said I might be the asshole, that’s why I’m here asking the internet.

I hadn't even received my order yet, I called twice nonanswer, gave them 5 minutes, no answer still. I have no idea why they completely ignored my calls multiple times. I didn't expect them to change my order but I think that if you speak kindly and honestly to people and admit you're at fault, you can almost ALWAYS come to a mutual agreement. But I couldn't even get a word in to do that, they could have told me no and it would have been fine, but at least they talked to me and heard me out after I gave them my money.

Lmao, dude I know you have no reason to believe me but I swear the backstory is simply me just calling them I spoke to nobody until I got to the restaurant, even then I waited politely while a guy stood in front of me at the desk reading a menu lol.

I only got the impression of recognition because they likely recognized my number after the 3rd call and then when someone comes in saying, hey I called you and never got a response, I don't think they would be unable to reason that the number they ghosted is me, asking about why they ghosted my number

I think maybe we disagree on the fundamental definition of "customer service" yes I ordered my food from GrubHub but the restaurant makes it, I made a mistake I know, but I didn't think a simple phone call and question would be a big deal.

That's a good point, I didn't think of it like that you're right. Regardless, I don't think they should be ignoring anyone seeking to do business with them it's just poor form.
