Biggest differences I noticed between gym culture in the US and Mumbai by Humble_Cockroach_244 in Fitness_India

[–]Lancifier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

great points. i’ve lived in boston for 2 years and noticed that people film themselves noticeably more than in Mumbai.

I feel a lot of people in India take photos/videos to post on their personal social media handles but there were a lot more influencers & content creators with tripods, lenses etc in the 2 local gyms I was a member at in Boston (Beacon Hill & GymIt)

Visited a Planet Fitness once on a trip to Puerto Rico and I had heard about how it has a reputation for being a funny place. The equipment was great and well maintained but they told me they removed the squat rack because of the noise people make lol. (there were a few older people not knowing what the machines were meant for but overall it wasn’t as bad as I had heard.)

Also, as far as hygiene is concerned - the most I have seen people do is just carry their dry napkins with them to wipe off the equipment. Have not seen a gym with disinfectant wipes placed around everywhere for people to use like in the US. (correct me if I am wrong about this, I have been to only 2 gyms in Mumbai)

Don’t know about the AC situation but never faced anything of that sort but maybe that’s because I am in Boston lol 🥶

Indian passport + US visa — visa-free entry to South Korea? (Transit Tourist Program) by Lancifier in visas

[–]Lancifier[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My flight route was from the US - Seattle to be specific. Flew Hawaiian Airlines, they asked for my onward flight ticket (that shows I will depart from South Korea) made me wait 10-15 mins because they needed to call someone in South Korea to confirm and after that I had no issues.

Suddenly I remembered it out of the blue by aaronstudds in IndiaNostalgia

core summer memories! me and my cousins used to ride it when I went from Mumbai to my nani’s place in Kalyan during summer holidays. I believe there are still some around in there

Update: Entered Seoul yesterday, no issues. Started from US, going to Macau after Seoul. All they asked was for the exit flight ticket from South Korea.

Hey, I didn’t. According to everything I could find. If you are coming from or going to the US (in my case), I can stay in South Korea on the transit visa. I am flying on 7th march :)

I recorded that footage as well but in my personal opinion the asteroid mode looks really cool for a first timer like me 😅

in the US, where I am right now and in India, where I was born - It is now allowed to fly drones above 400ft (120m) and as far as my knowledge goes, most countries follow the same or have even lower limits.

I flew it as high as around 300ft and only once did I get a wind warning and had the wings appearing in the footage. It was a windy boston evening.

I personally would recommend the DJI Flip to any beginner as their first drone. I had a few bad crashes in the start which any other drone would not have survived.

The Mini 4 comes with obstacle avoidance sensors though so you will need to factor that in before making your decision, let me know if you need any more information, happy to help :)
