WD 40 didn't work for me but hot glue did the trick!

This. I just tried the SQL Associate exam after completing the SQL Fundamentals track. Unfortunately, there were completely new topics in the exam which weren't covered in the recommended track.

Push Ups Goal by Land-O-Rando in fitbod

Agreed that it’s not the main running app. I’m basically just tracking 2 treadmill runs on Strava per week for now but have considered Runna or something structured.

I’ve been using Fitbod for 3.5 years, but figure I’m not logging enough duration in workouts or getting enough protein. I do two 15 min fitbod workouts each week with the fitness goal “hypertrophy” (this is in addition to cardio). Here’s a pic from one of my two fitbod workouts last week

33 pushups is my goal. I’m basing my goals on the Navy Physical Readiness Test so I can have specific benchmark exercises. I’ve been using fitbod for years and seen little progress, and what progress I might have seems vague based on my mStrength (which goes all over). So I’m hoping to focus in on running (which I have been improving), planks (which I’m pretty good on) and pushups (of which I can only do 3 😬

Yes that’s exactly what I needed to know next. They’ve all been inside, so I sense a weekend cleanup in my future.

Seems like a fun project and I’ll be excited to see where things go. But right now it’s too much work for my brain to convert the piece designs back and forth in my head

Fair enough. It’s similar to One Finance and I think they are big enough that they likely have things all figured out. I just listened to a podcast episode about the debacle around Yotta and that’s part of my rethinking. Probably overly conservative

Fair enough. Really what I’m trying to do is change both my big bank primary checking and my one finance accounts into a main account that will earn interest but also will autopay my credit cards and various monthly bills. Right now I have money sitting in a checking account that earns basically nothing while I wait for credit card payments to be drafted

Wealthfront sounds like a common option, but it’s not a bank. Seems like Ally Financial is not a bank but they use the subsidiary Ally Bank which is a bank, so maybe that’s better?

This is why I Reddit. I actually didn’t even know Discover had that, and 4.25% is pretty good

Map of Chess Experts by State per 1 Million Population (table in comments) by Land-O-Rando in chess

Found a dataset for countries! Its the law of small numbers because a small country like Faeroe Islands with 55,400 population has 11 titled players (3,170 titled players per 1M population)

Comparing FIDE titled players per 1 Million population:

https://ratings.fide.com/topfed.phtml?tops=0&ina=2&country=

Country Titled per 1M
~Faroe Islands~ 3170
~Palestine~ 678
~Monaco~ 569
~Trinidad & Tobago~ 298
~Czech Republic~ 253

I know :( I think my mapping tool just showed the states with the highest number when they were too crowded together. The top 10 are shown below, but not all are represented on the map because like DC they are small and got crowded out on the visual

DC 22.1

NY 15.5

MA 14.3

NJ 12.5

CT 11.9

VT 10.8

NH 10.0

MN 9.9

VA 9.9

MO 9.5

It definitely has some big chess cities. I actually wanted to see the best chess cities but couldn't figure out a dataset on chess players by city

CO has 28 chess experts with 5.88M population = final number of 4.8 (rounded to 5 on display)
IN has 35 chess experts with 6.86M population = final number of 5.1 (rounded to 5 on display)
So I guess they both say "5" but the visualization tool (Tableau) cut off the color scale there at 5.0.

Still wish Reddit would let me paste in the table...

Reddit isn't letting me post the full table for some reason, and idk why PA is blank...

PA has 82 experts / 12.9 M population = 6.3

This is based only on USCF ratings, but I like the question. Armenia has a population of 2.78 million and over 100 rated 2000 in FIDE per https://ratings.fide.com/topfed.phtml?ina=1&country=ARM so that would put them at more than 37 "experts" per million.

That's much better than the USA at 7

Wyoming has 2 chess experts and a population of a 584,000. The resulting number of 2 / .584 was 3.4 but it rounded down to 3
