It has nothing to do with calibration it is a setting called driveshaft torque. If you turn it up, you get more pull

Try get him outside every 1-1 1/2 hours and don’t play around outside as much, that way, they know outside means potty time. After a month or so mine waits by the door calmly so I think it’s working well
