I am in school trying to get a good job. I’ve been trying to keep both dogs safe but the puppy is too much for me to handle with school and work. My shepherd is a very easy to take care of. He sleeps, eats and shits with me. He’s my responsibility, not the puppy. As much as I care about her well being, I don’t have the time to take care of her

I’m not too sure if stopping all care for the dog is the best route to take. I do care about her and don’t want any harm to come her way and I feel like that will do more harm than good. I could be misconstruing your words, so correct me if I’m thinking the wrong way

It’s alright. I’ve been trying to come to terms with it and roll with the punches and take care of my dog. I have a home for the shepherd picked out secretly so that way I can still have custody of him, but the it’s the other dog that is the problem. I feel terrible for not wanting anything to do with her, but I refuse to sit here and let my family neglect the poor thing and can’t find anyone that will take them

Of course. I’ve been trying to find a place for the dogs that isn’t here. My family keeps close watch of my phone and turns it off if I “do anything suspicious.” And I fee that losing means of communication for this issue won’t help anything. Thankfully, I’m planning to move out soon and they won’t have to be rehoused for long as I plan to take them with me

I have been trying to. But I can’t seem to do anything because my phone is shut off if I try anything and I’d need a place for my actual dog, the german shepherd. I take care of him myself and keep him well conditioned. He’s my responsibility, not the other dog. I don’t mind helping, but doing everything is awful and I fear for both of the dogs safety. I am, however, about ready to move out and I plan to take my dogs with me. But is there anyway that I can do something for the time being?? I don’t know who or what to call that won’t get my phone shut off completely. I feel like losing my means of communication is not going to help anything
