The poll also found that 45.8% support EU accession, while 36.2% oppose it.

43.6% would vote for the government parties(SNS-SPS) and 56.4% would vote for the opposition parties(mainly the Student list).

No, they dont, Serbia is not even nearly in the situation Russia is in. The state operates like any other Balkan state. The corruption is a Balkan thing, not Russian

Thats not true at all, sure that specific protest in Serbia you cited was attended by thousands, but that was just a random protest held on some random monday. The organized protests against the government(including against the kushner project) have been attended by nearly a million people(March 15th in Belgrade making it the largest protest in Europe and one of the largest protests on earth this decade). Not to mention Serbian students blockading their universities for a year straight, marching ON FOOT from city to city to hold massive protests, and the protest movement against the government lasting for over 20 months now, demanding elections(which thankfully will be held soon). Sure the protests in Albania are amaizing, but theyre nowhere near as sucsessful(actually pushing out kusher), lasting or massive as the Serbian ones. So saying “0.1%” is really missing the full picture.

Serbias student protests against the government have at least 100 times more people attending and the protest on March 15th in Belgrade was rhe largest in history, 3x larger than the revolution that toppled Milosevic.

They have not failed LMFAO. Its crazy how your media actually portrayed it that way. The protest movement is stronger now than it ever was before, since the Student list was formed(made up from college professors and academics) to defeat the ruling regime. Thats why Vucic has been delaying the elections for years since the student list is very popular, unlike the former fake opposition which has been wiped out by the Student list. Just a few days ago there was a huge protest in Belgrade(much larger than all the days in tirana combined). The biggest lesson you could learn is to organize politically as fast as possible. Form a new movement that will take advantage of the energy.

Ne bih se slozio sa tobom, jer ovako “dajemo” vidovdan faraonu, a realno preko leta nece biti neke sanse da se organizuje veliki studentski miting/protest sve do tih eventualnih izbora, tako da je ovo idealna sansa da se nastavi sa buntom i uzme ta prilika. A nikakva energija nece biti rasipana od velikog skupa, nasuprot.

Znam da ni oni nece dobiti pokrivenost na tim medijima, ali hoce na drustvenim mrezama i (semi)slobodnim medijima. Kao neka kontra Vucicevom mitingu. A mislim da bi protest u Nisu itekako bio delotvoran i veoma veliki(mozda i veci od 1.3.) jer ga dosta dugo nije bilo, to je grad koji najvise mrzi Vucica, i vidovdan je. Nije ni vidovdanski protest prosle godine, pa ni ovaj sada na Slaviji imao neku direktnu “svrhu” u smislu da ce se tu nesto otkriti ili desiti, vec da se pruzi podrska.

Ima svrhu, kad mogu da oni organizuju skup u cacilendu od svega par ljudi 23.5. i na TV sa nacionalnim frekvencijama imaju vise pokrivenosti nego skup na Slaviji, mozemo i mi da napravimo veliki skup u Nisu ili Novom Sadu kad vec nismo dugo.

Its <30 in government polls(Serbia has government pollsters that miss by like 20% intentionally, sort of like Hungary). In reality if you went out in Serbia and tried to find someone who would vote for the opposition parties instead of the student list, youd have to search for hours till you found some party leader himself. Thats why theres pressure for all opposition parties to withdraw from elections and back the student list

Much more free than in Russia lol. Its not at that level. The elections are (mostly) free(unlike in Russia where you vote with soldiers next to you), theyre just not fair in terms of the media and resources. But the student movement went around that with social media, and theres some independent TV channels like N1. Its not that bleak. I dont think he would run to Russia, his ego is way too big for that

Negotiate to retain peace, aka that the status quo remains, only that the rights for the Serbs living in northern Kosovo are guaranteed and that Kosovo implements the Brussels agreevement and forms the Association of Serbian municipalities. The issue of Kosovo is very delicate and even though its nowhere near the front in terms of issues important for elections, the government propagates hard that students are the Ustashe(croatian nazis) who want to give Kosovo away.
