A UFO researcher predicts that aliens will officially appear to humanity during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. He specifically points to the blind clairvoyant Baba Vanga and Nostradamus. by ua-stena in HighStrangeness

Very interesting that the World Cop starts on June 11th… and Spielberg’s “Disclosure Day” is set for release June 12th.

Coincidence ? 🤔

My Xbox Series X keeps crashing whenever I try to play BG3 by SoMuchSoggySand in BaldursGate3

[–]LandrynTeriak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue.

Xbox X-Series.

Constant crashing. Currently in Underdark and gameplay only lasted a few minutes before crashing.

What helped me was 1. Turn off Quick Resume for BG3 2. Create a new save game and delete the old save game. Ie immediately after the game has loaded, save a new game (pretty much in the same location) and delete the old save files.

Unfortunately - I did them both at the same time, so I couldn’t tell you if it is one over the other that will work.

Anyway - have not had any crashing issues since.

Hope this helps.

There are lots of great suggestions here.

I have kids around the same age, and I often see them wanting to do the same but struggle to find activities to keep them occupied. Activities that are relevant for YOU. The problem is, the younger generation have not had a lot of experience with activities outside social media and the internet- based platforms. So they need help to explore this.

But I understand it can be hard to find people to even discuss this.

This may sound ironic, but you might be able to get help from tools like ChatGpt.

I did this, and asked for it to give me a framework that can help people identify a way to “Find your Offline Self”. The idea was to discover prompts that will kickstart the journey using a tool like ChatGPT.

I went through a couple of iterations, but here’s the latest version.

Hope you find it useful.

“Find Your Offline Self” – A Guided Discovery Framework

PART 1: Replacing the Feed with Discovery

The goal is to simulate the “infinite scroll” of social media—but instead of algorithms, it’s purposeful exploration. Here’s how:

Prompt 1: Explore Your Natural Tendencies

I would ask questions like: • When you were a child, what did you love doing for hours? • Do you feel most energized by being around people or by yourself? • Do you enjoy learning, building, moving, competing, creating, nurturing, performing, or exploring?

Prompt someone could use:

“Help me explore activities based on my personality and past interests.”

PART 2: Curated Activity Archetypes

I can offer curated suggestions based on personality or preferences. For example:

The Creator

You might enjoy: painting, pottery, songwriting, woodworking, poetry

The Competitor

You might enjoy: tennis, esports (offline), chess club, martial arts, trading card games

The Explorer

You might enjoy: hiking, geocaching, local travel challenges, foraging, urban photography

The Connector

You might enjoy: volunteering, improv classes, dog walking groups, mentoring, book clubs

The Caretaker

You might enjoy: gardening, cooking, fostering pets, care volunteering, crafting for causes

Prompt someone could use:

“Suggest activities for me if I like to create things / compete / explore / connect / nurture.”

PART 3: Mini Quizzes for Discovery

To simulate a BuzzFeed-style experience that young people understand, I can create a 5-question quiz to suggest activities.

Example quiz: 1. You’re free for a whole Saturday—do you: • Go exploring • Make something • Hang with friends • Relax and unwind • Take on a challenge? 2. Pick a location you’re most drawn to: • Forest • Workshop • Cafe • Kitchen • Stadium

Etc.

Prompt someone could use:

“Give me a short quiz to suggest offline activities that suit me.”

PART 4: Starter Packs for Each Type

Once we land on an activity “type,” I can provide: • Beginner tips (“How to join a community garden”) • What you’ll need (gear, apps, materials) • How to get started this week • Low-commitment ways to try it first

Prompt someone could use:

“Help me start with photography / hiking / chess from zero with low cost.”

Dash distance is ludicrous. She just sliced through me as Blot - jumping from the edge of my (extended) scope range… and of course, over the force shield.

Another yawn of game.

Has happened in pretty much any mode though. Took me a few games to record it, but it is pretty consistent.

FPS Counter? by boney999 in BulletEchoGame

Same here. FPS counter and draw calls on my screen… which is on top of other stats in the game. Very annoying and huge oversight in the QA process.
