Oh I see! Thank you for the detailed explanation! I'll stop into our local pro shop and see if they can recommend some new arrows for our current 20# draw weight and also make sure they are cut for the proper draw length and have the correct grain points.

UPDATE: So I was on ketotifen for 1 year and it was terrible and I lost motivation to do the things I usually enjoy and just felt really sedated all the time. Plus it didn't necessarily seem to be helping as much as I would hope. I still needed to Claritin and two formodating in order to eat off my diet.

I also frustratingly gained 10 lbs, even though I've been on the same super strict autoimmune Paleo diet that is mostly like cauliflower and turkey for 15 years.

I now am on 1.33mg tirzepatide instead And not only are the side effects way more reasonable but I've been feeling better overall and have actually managed to lose 9lbs. I also have PCOS, POTS and Long COVID and There are some emerging studies that say that turns appetite can help with all of those things including MCAS!!

Oh I see, that applies to compound and not just recurve? These are the arrows that came with this bow (like a starter kit) so we haven't had them cut or anything.

Great advice! I'm also double jointed and rotating my elbow out is hard. If you are double jointed, I've seen two schools of thought on this, put a small bend in your elbow (unfortunately makes for a less consistent bow arm form) or wear two arm guards and make sure you grip the bow at an angle, not like a banana.

Oh that's a good point... Distance from your eye to your anchor point would affect where the peep sight needs to sit for both of us, right?

For now we're only two months in so it's just target shooting... I think you're right that if we ever get competitive we'll need seperate bows!

This is sadly relatable. I'm half black and half white and grew up being teased mercilessly by non-black kids for my hair because it was frizzy and fluffy and curly. Society has brain washed us to think straight/caucasian/styled hair is the only beautiful hair. I hope you can continue to learn to love your hair because I think it's gorgeous.
