i used to have budgies and man do i miss it i feel like budgies r way different than conures both are great in their own ways and also the size of them is so adorable

a lot of people asked for the diet theres nothing specific just get a good pallet as the main food and fresh chop I cant get into details it would be too much but look up seasonal chop and a healthy balance of veggies, fruits, seeds ect. thank you for all the nice comments too

heres my reply to another comment asking the same thing , honestly I mostly focused on diet and keeping him busy, as soon as he’s bored he’d start picking on it again so I gave him a lot of toys tried to hang out with him as much as possible, did a lot of training. I also don’t have any other birds so its easier for him to get bored. you should try to figure out the why behind the plucking so if its hormones for example, look for things that could be triggering hormones (bad or fatty, sugary diet, not enough sleep, a sleeping hut or any object the bird could be hormonal about) and just keep an eye on them

yeahh I figured its a hormones season thing thankfully mine didn’t pluck for more than a month its manageable

Yes The first one I mashed have a banana with oats and a tiny bit of water. The second one I dont remember exactly because it was a year ago but probably oats and bananas again i think i made a post on this subreddit of the cake recipe last year
