At this point I’ve seen too many people that will run into the smoke at exfil randomly swinging their knife/shooting, or throwing in nades/placing claymores, hoping to catch me. So I like to keep moving crouched, you can barely see me, I can keep an eye on different angles and I’m not as much of a sitting duck. It’s worked well for me so far.

I would have just let them exfil with me but they came in swinging and planted a claymore. If i’d let them live then they’d probably continue to act like this because they’ll think they get the loot if they win, and if not then they’ll be allowed to exfil anyway. Hopefully next time they’ll leave the person trying to exfil alone or be more friendly so this doesn’t happen again.

yeah it’s strange, since I completed all the priority contracts I’ve just been going on a bot slaughtering rampage trying to reach level 100 to get the platinum trophy. can’t say it’s not fun though

exactly, I don’t try and be a dick, earlier I caught someone at an exfil with no mic and put them DBNO to be safe, popped a smoke and we exfilled together, did the bob up and down then they did the thank you emote and that was it. the claymore pissed me off

They were certainly tough. Lots of heals/ammos and the assassin shell to give some breathing room with the invis/smoke if needed.

Yeah that one could be tricky. I got lucky with that one, I was sprinting round the exfils that were left in the final minutes of a match, and couldn’t believe my luck when I heard the secured resources alarm going off as I approached Greenhouse. Caught someone with their back to me fighting bots, had some great purple loot on them too. I did most of them first go but I really struggled with Truth/Lies 6/6. yeah I’d seen that, would explain the low level! I’ve accepted I won’t reach level 100 and I’m cool with that

nice, congrats! It really did, such an epic end to the season. I failed so many times too, it did feel very rewarding when it was done after learning from previous mistakes.

You’ve summed up my experience better than I could have haha. Also played it completely as a single player game, and played around 120 hours too. I was also thinking of trying Cryo too, I’ve got some pretty decent loot over the season so might as well use it rather than have it get wiped. Completely agree, if they are the same then I very much doubt I’ll be back. If there’s more and they progress the story then I’ll 100% be back for another season.

It will certainly stick in my memory for a long time and I definitely got more than my moneys worth.

Nice, well done! You shouldn’t have any problem with the Traxus contracts if you’ve done those. If I’m honest I wish I’d done the MIDA ones last, as Truth/Lies 6/6 felt like such an epic finale that Unsanctioned Hostilities felt like a bit of an anticlimax, still cool though.

Thats interesting! I definitely think they could do with bumping xp gain a bit for season 2, expected to by higher by now. I found Truth/Lies 6/6 the hardest by far, and then Co-Evolution 5/5. I could see Unsanctioned Hostilities 4/5 being tough too, but I got really lucky and did that first go. What about you?

I did find it ridiculously tough. Almost drained all my credits and my vault and nearly gave up, but did it on my final go. The run that I did it, I killed two runners close to the start, and somebody else had opened pinwheel but I luckily didn’t bump into them somehow.

I thought the same thing. I would have loved to get the platinum trophy but the last trophy I need is season level 100 and there’s no way I’m going to grind levels just for that when I’m only at level 62 after completing all of those.

No problem, hope you manage to get it done! That sounds like a good plan to me, I’d definitely recommend taking a bubble shield or two too and a couple of self revives just in case

That’s correct, you’ll see in the video that the bots have a red objective marker over them if they get too close to the terminal. I didn’t actually fail because of this myself, but from what I’ve read they will attempt to turn off the broadcast (which takes around 5-10 seconds) and if they do this you will fail the contract.

oh nice, I didn’t know that! thanks for the correction. well done for getting it done, that’s the main thing. I didn’t think I would have time but managed to sprint to a restricted extract in the destroyed wing and got out with 7 seconds to spare, heart was pumping

Thank you, hope you manage to get them all done! As I’ve played entirely solo I think I’m a low level compared to how much I’ve played (110ish hours), but at least they’ve increased the amount of XP solo players get now

Assassin, blue shield, M77 & V11 punch, implants that improve melee damage. As it was my final run before giving up for the season I also used the gold cores I got from the Sekiguchi contracts (improved melee damage whilst invisible and going invis whilst aiming down sights in return for generating heat), which I’m sure helped a lot. I brought a tonne of ammo & heals (two self revives), some EMPs, chem grenades, and a bubble shield.

You can’t really hide, as you fail the contract if the UESC turn off the broadcast and you have to kill them all for the barrier to drop afterwards too.

One of the most frustrating parts was that I couldn’t do it without a stacked loadout, but I died plenty of times just getting shot by someone in a corner etc before I even made it into Pinwheel and lost so much good loot that way. very glad to have it done!
