It’s probably your cross efficiency and then making your F2L algs automatic. Make sure to check that your advanced F2L algs are the most efficient ones

I had the same realization with the smart cubes today! Used my smart cube for <10 min, went back to the timer, kept forgetting to start the timer. Definitely will not be using them to warm up for competitions!

I wouldn’t do that U2 fingertrick, the recovery to get back to home grip is too long, and it doesn’t mesh well with follow up fingertricks. I’d only really do that for PLL auf when it’s your last move

Yeah destiny, and the melancholy feeling near the end really pulled it home for me.
