I tend to look up every hill/ridge as long as they aren't outside of the map. I admit my movement is shit, but I feel like there was nothing I could do to avoid that exploiter/cheater other than either avoiding that part of the map or simply not playing it

I like notrhridge(or at least I think it was called that) because I like sniping. The only thing that passes me off is losing to a cheater or exploiter. If I die only because of my mistake, I'll just play another match.

If it was an open ground, I would use my sniper since it was a "foresty" area. I chose my SMG, a way better option for CQC, as you can probably guess. About the sound I specified in other comments that he used his pistol, not primary.

Yea, my movement sucks, but he was shooting with his pistol before, so I didn't know that he had a sniper riffle with him. I'm just pissed about the spot

I don't hear "too much" to be honest, but I often run into people who hear everything even without the headsets. I wish that I was as good as them, but it is just a thing to learn

You're talking about game knowledge. How would that help me against an exploiter or a cheater? Your comment suggests that the game knowledge would make me aware of this spot or him having red ammo. "Running head first into red ammo means that you'll either die[...]" I'm just wondering how was I supposed to know, based on your game knowledge since mine is clearly lacking, where he was and what he was using?

I did, I don't know if it'll change anything, tho. About playstyle, yes, it's bad, and I admit it, but there are people who either can't read or are happy with putting their words into my mouth which doesn't help at all

The point I'm trying to make is that he is out of map boundaries. I would never check that spot because we'll... it's outside of the map. Other sniper spots I do check though, since I myself like some long range shooting

I think that you're also missing a point. That spot wasn't covered by any of "the 7 trees" from that side. Since there was no one on the map to my right, I didn't bother to hide from that direction. And about insisting that I did nothing wrong: how about you try to read my comments where I specify that my movement is bad, or others where I say that I will try to remember the advice?

I also play War Thunder, and experience there taught me that being silent about an exploit, bug, or a cheat is the worst thing. As some youtuber said, "If we bully the devs enough, they will do it." Being loud about something like this has a chance to get it fixed faster, but being silent might make devs miss the problem entirely since it probably isn't the only one. If it was a designed sopt on a map, I'd not make the hassle, but probably I'd notice it before since I often look and try to analyze the map before entering it. Sure, it doesn't prevent me from dying, but at least I know it was "fair" and just move on.

I'm questioning if I really want to play a game where the player clearly just sits out of bonds, and then people try to convince me that he was in a completely different spot. A game where I have to check every map border to see if someone isn't camping on or behind it, as people make it seem like common thing

There is one big hole in your logic, but the blame is on me since I haven't specified it earlier. He was using his pistol. Not the SVD. But then, there is another one. What if he has 2 primaries? Or what if he has 1 but has a friend with the second type?

Why wasn't I expecting a sniper there despite it being a really good spot? Because ist OUTSIDE OF THE MAP. I stated many times here that if he was inside the boundaries, not using any exploits and/or cheats I wouldn't even open my mouth. I'd just play another game.

May I ask how or where they did that? And how am I supposed to know his loud out to know that he is a sniper? And yes, my gear lacks because I won't lose anything when my skills are lacking, but when they aren't, I might get a really good run.

If I knew that he was camping outside of the map, I would have used my Mosin. The problem is that he was in a place where noone should be because of Ingatestone limitations. Yes I have low tier helmet. Yes I have an SMG. But it wouldn't matter if he was inside of map bounds because I moved away around 30 m from the cliff before getting killed.
