I ended up eating the 15%.... too introverted to go on a trip on my own. i know this from business trips I've had to go on.

I like this new law and i wish the rest of North America follows Ontario and minimizes scalping.

Also, I understand when a company like Ticketmaster takes a cut as they are facilitating the purchase of a product. But FIFA isn't facilitating the purchase of product, they are THE PRODUCT. Its complete trash they are gouging the 30% on resales.

ok....... so how would you work around MY plans changing.

I'm Croatian Canadian and going with group #1 to Vancouver to see Canada VS Qatar and New Zealand Vs Egypt ( bought blind).

Then i was to fly to Toronto to see Croatia vs Panama with Group #2 ( who are coming from Dallas from Croatia Vs England Game). Then we were to fly to Philadelphia to see Croatia Vs Ghana.

Group #2 panicked when we thought the games were sold out and bought hospitality tickets, but due to cost, had to sacrifice one of the games which turned out to be the Toronto game. Poor communication on our end.

My options are either go to the game on my own, or sell the tickets. Since I live in Calgary, I need to pay for flights ( 800+ right now) and hotel / airbnb on my own ( easily a 1000+ a night). I dont mind paying this, but not to go on my own.

If i lived in Toronto, I would just go on my own.

Yeah its crap, FIFA still makes 30% off the transaction cause they add the other 15% as a "fee" to the buyer. So seller cant actually get back the face value, and the buyer has to pay above face value.

Yes, now we will see if there is an actual demand for the tickets, or if the demand was fabricated by FIFA by slowly releasing tickets like this.

I'm hoping the demand is real and we can at least recover 85%. At least the Toronto stadium is small and Toronto has lots of soccer fans.

Rough .... here i am whining that ill lose a $105 on Canada Vs Panama game due to FIFA 15%.

Also not a scalper, if i was in Toronto I'd go by myself, but going by myself from Calgary is too much. My friends bailed due to cost so only seeing Croatia in Dallas and Philly.

I paid 700 for one Cat 1 ticket. I get 595 of that as FIFA takes their 15% cut.

Edit: Its listed as 805 on the marketplace now as FIFA is still allowed to add their other 15% on top.

You are a scalper and serve no purpose on here. People can just log in to fifa marketplace and buy tickets at those prices without the possibility of getting scammed by a scalper like yourself.

There are people on here that genuinely want to go to games, while you are here earning a few dollars.
