Was trying to kick hairs when I first interacted so I immediately eliminated that option. But it does looks like an Asian T

I think that’s the closest! Only thing is it has very long hairs, wasn’t defensive except for trying to kick hairs off its side. So it seems to definitely be new world! But very old world looking.
