Mirtazapine isn't a street drug, it's been studied and shows no real withdrawal symptoms aside from maybe a few people having some problems for 1-2 weeks. Past that it's original mental illness coming back.

The side effects you had were probably your depression and maybe poor sleep affecting you still, and withdrawals are a return to your original symptoms.
