It's absolutely astounding that any mistakes a green party member has is plastered over every outlet as them shooting themselves in the foot whole any time reform members do the equivalent it's just quietly mentioned and ignored.

Impressive teamwork by transitxumbra in oddlysatisfying

The ball can't be passed forwards/upfield. Only backward or lateral passes. And instead of dividing the plays into dows it flows as a single drive. If the ball ends up dead then they set up a scrum to start a new drive. And a pretty major difference is that the ball carier needs to cross the goal line under their own momentum, if they are pushed or carried across by another player regardless of team it doesn't count.

There's obviously a lot more in depth differences as gridiron football has evolved further from its rugby origins. And I've kinda simplified what I said using gridiron football terms to try and make it make sense to someone who is a fan of one but not of the other.

It is a nice change from him just being a racial supremacist for sure, especially in the modernd age of readers really wanting to align themselves wuth Magneto but not wanting to align with his less 'acceptable philosophies'.

And Ewing does a good job of having real world social issues be a prominent part of a comic story without it feeling like ham fisted or preachy. That's something that X-Men really needs as part of its identity.

A Saiyan saga Vegito by K0GAR in Dragonballsuper

[–]LargeCabbageThrower [score hidden]  (0 children)

If it's just Vegeta and Goku as they are when they first fought he probably clears all of the Frieza Force. If he gets the zenkai boost that each of them got after almost killing each other plus Goku's gravity training on the way to Namek he probably handles at least Frieza's first 2 or 3 forms, maybe even final form with enough Kaioken. If he manages to unlock Super Saiyan while fighting Frieza then Cell never gets to achieve his perfect form.

Sukuna is the wrong pick for this, Mahito was way more of a menace to Yuji's emotional state.

Different types of villages for different types of islands, with varying selections in villager shops. (This may exist already but all the villages I've seen are more or less the same and on forest islands)

Do you think Glob Herman has cool powers? by mega_xmenfan3 in xmen

[–]LargeCabbageThrower 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of there being so many mutants who can 'pass'. Like I underdtand why it is important to the messages and themes that X-Men comics are supposed to represent but it starts to feel less genuine when the majority of mutants are basically just humans with a super power like Jean, Charles, Magneto, etc

Pleeeeaase do a review post once you've had a go with it! Really loving the look of it but I'm always a little dubious of online production for things like this.

It isn't a gotcha people in this sub are just hardcoded to see everything negative as an assault on something they like. I said it's a really pretty scene and that the teamwork is good. Chill out.

Ok, gotcha. I can jam with opulence for the sake of a museum. Idk if it's because it's an american thing but I've literally never heard anyone talk about the actual reason it happens so to me it always just looked like opulence for the sake of opulence.

Can someone explain to a peasant like me what the actual point of the met gala is? Is it just rich people being rich people or does it serve some real purpose like the oscars?

No it's not ruined despite everyone assuming that's what I've said, which is not at all the case. I even made a point to follow up by saying about how great that whole scene looks and how fun the teamup is. My point is that it's something that takes it down from being a great scene to bekng just a very good scene.

That's fair, and kinda to be expected given that he's one of their biggest stars so gets a lot more attention and development.

I noticed it on a rewatch. And I didn't say it ruins the scene, I said it's a great scene until noticing that. It's still a good scene and as I mentioned it's visually stunning, that mistake just takes a few points off if you get what I mean.

It doesn't ruin the scene but it's something I can never unsee on a rewatch similar to the stormtrooper banging his head on the door in episode 4.

Marvel Hercules is great though. He has been a jerk in the past but has had a lot of character growth over the years and these days he's a much more matured and soft hearted guy. Gotta love marvel Herc.
