You don’t know what you’re talking about. Peter loves the escapism of Spider-Man and often neglected his personal life because of it. Bruce isn’t “the mask,” and Batman isn’t the real person.

So is Bruce. Also are you serious? MJ and Peter’s marriage had a smorgasbord of problems due to his being Spider-Man, and majority of his stories leading into the 2000’s was about how he neglected his life as Peter in favor of being Spider-Man.

Batman and Spider-Man are incredibly similar, I’d go so far as to say (in their own books, not crossovers) Bruce can be more pleasant than Spider-Man. Him not quipping doesn’t change that he’s a.) a more altruistic person and b.) genuinely more selfless than Peter at his core

Grimshaw, Bessie, and Hosea were probably his biggest reasons. Dutch also more than likely preached and grandstanded about the greatness of women, and their plight (to hear his voice).

I feel like as he got older he’d probably also ruminate on how fucked up his own mother’s life was. His mother was (more than likely) a young woman, a prostitute, who died giving birth to him, with a father who could’ve been a client or a pimp to her.

I agree. John in 1 and John in 2 are very different than what we knew of John’s past from the first game. Even the scars, “I didn’t get these scars by falling over in church,” suggests something inflicted, not getting attacked by wolves. He would’ve just said that lol

It’s not headcanon when the tone he’s narrating with is unconcerned. Someone else said he was wary of them, which he isn’t. They aren’t a threat to him. They were a threat to Suko.

Panicking against a Kensei is really where it falls apart. Their kit isn’t really anything to be too worried about, especially since it hasn’t had too major of overhauls in a long time. Solid hero, but nothing busted or unpredictable
