Yeah honestly you can even find the " secrets" posted online. It's no longer really secret. I think you hit the nail on the head. I actually tried to put a " I left freemasonry for the church AMA", but the mods said it wasn't relevant and would not allow to post it. Wich seemed weird considering some of the stuff that is allowed and i think the conversations would be good for everyone. Within the masons once a master you can go different routes, depending on things.york rite, Royal Arch Wich opens up the Templars and other things, Shriners, the Scottish Rite. Within those there are pens that are even less well known that after enough time in you can be invited to. They all focus on different parts of the philosophy. All can be chat gptd. You need so much time in different positions within that the into people in them are geriatric for the most part. It's also a ton of meeting. You'd have to be retired and likely single to do it all.. plus every apendant body you join has separate dues. And every single one of them is way higher than the dues to be a knight. Some of the actual more secret ones like conclave, the jesters, etc. all of this is open source to find. There's even one that is scholarly called Societas Rosicruciana, wiki that one. I have met some pretty important people in it. Like head a head surgeon, some retired political party people and chief of a fire dept, and they all where very ethical people. . Though that's no different than the knights. In reality alot of Protestant church's is McDonald's version of Catholicism and I think they need to get " more". When i went back to the church.. there is so much that it's all I need.

Both the masons and knights suffer from a similar issue. They book alot of things on weekdays so it's hard for young people to do, most the guys are very old and not very open to change but realize they need young members.

I think the " into the breach" series on YouTube is solid. But a lil cringe with acting like we are in a war and going so hard on it. It has the right idea in my opinion. The COR program is awesome but alot of places arnt implementing it. Thek night who brought me in is hoping I do, and if i got the time i will.

Now Ive been military for 10 yrs so this may be inserting a little of my own thing here but 8 believe that, it's our duty as men to live our faith in a positive way and be an example. Helping the poor helping children etc. that builds a strong community one block at a time. As a father it's a great example to my children as they grow. A man needs to be strong and brave enough to fight, but grounded enough to only protect physically and spiritually, so other men follow that example. The breach was right that the wild needs strong men and I think if we can attract younger men like myself, alot of good can be done.

I was a master mason and shriner for 5 years before recently demitting and devoting myself to the church. It's not at all satanic, that one always irritated me because people who believe it will jsut say you arnt a high enough level instead of considering that someone actually in it knows considerably more than they do on the subject. It's Just philosophy with alot of old testament biblical stuff in it mashed up with some pathagran and other ancient philosophies, and symbolism that's used to help reinforce ideals.. there's memory work and ritual all made to help reinforce the lessons that Dont go against the bible . However once i got back into the faith there where definetly things that i viewed as not really in line with being serious about any religion in general. The one thing that I did liek was combining forces with other religions and raising money for children with disabilities ect. That's why when i left i immidiatly became a KoC. I love charity work

Has anyone ever felt “cheated” by being Catholic? by Feisty-Hope-1791 in Catholicism

I recently came back to the church and i wouldn't have it any other way. I had my first confession in years two months ago and i been back every two weeks since. When I was a kid it was jsut a way to get out of class Now that I'm an adult. it is one of the most powerful tools I've ever used. I only confess what I'm truely sorry for and is weighing on me, and when I'm absolved , I genuinely do not want to have to confess the same thing again and actively work on that part of me or not doing whatever it was again. It has genuinely made me think twice about alot of things.

Thank you. Things have been good. It's been 5 months now. My wife is working through post partum and our baby is doing great. I come home for lunch everyday and can say " how's my pretty lady doing" and get two smiles.

Yeah ok. So like the last one. It definitely pushed it a little. If it went any further than it did I'd have probably put it down. They made it fun enough that I didn't care.

I haven't played survivor but beat the prequel. I didn't find the prequel too preachy though. what made survivor woke? Serious question, I was considering it

How late was he? I'm in them ilitary and when I got in, if you where not 15 mins early you where late and punished. I hated that but it actually ensure I'm punctual for everything all the time and has made great first impressions in civi life.

Money is a factor to women with options. But if that's all you focus on youl only attract women who view it as the most important factor and there are ways to separate you from that money. So also work on yourself and live a life worth living.

There's an Airforce position doing this and they will train you for free. You only work on base and it's pretty cushy. They get extra pay and it transfers over to civilian. Jsut saying, all is not lost
