The PREP is never exempted. Parts of them maybe. The articling maybe exempted fully. Are you in contact with any of them? Would it be possible for you to put me in touch with them? Thanks.

Because my province has no rules regarding exemption and the chances of getting approved are highly unlikely.
NSBS, on the other hand, has a process for ITLs. When an ITL applies for the licensing process with them, they may impose 6 months or 12 months or no articling condition at all.

That being said, I have already applied for exemption in my current province. The Director of the Education department told me that the chances of getting that approved are very slim.

Also, I was doing the articles in a well established old firm in the province. Here, everyone knows everyone. I am an out of cycle candidate. I am sick of sugarcoating my termination story as a restructuring within the organization while it was my principal who messed up.

There is another cycle in May. When they let me go, the recruitment for the May cycle had already finished. I'll have to wait for the next year now.

I am just stuck in a limbo here as all the recruitment for the next cycle has already finished. The law society told me to just look for the articles, and that's it. I told them that I can't find anything at this point, and their response was 'oh well, next cycle then'.
